On my paintings:

The moments of life in which we see and sense beyond the usual and feel so extremely alive, moments of great happiness, are what we may seek to recall in times that contrast such. Those memories are signposts that give us courage and hope and help us know what is possible. I am only an artist when my desire to paint is from that sense of wonder. If you are drawn to a certain piece of my art, I hope it is that you, also, remember something wonderful.
